How is Sogudo different from carriers' official coverage maps?
Carriers publish theoretical coverage, often optimistic. Sogudo computes realistic coverage from official antenna locations published by 21 national regulators (ACMA, RTR, BIPT, ANATEL, ISED, SUBTEL and more) and a proprietary signal-propagation model validated with INRIA. The result is a neutral, 13-class, operator-independent map.
Why isn't the API available in every country?
We only commercialize the API in countries where the regulator publishes reliable antenna data. 21 countries and 76 carriers are live today. Europe: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland. Americas: Brazil, Canada and Chile. Asia-Pacific: Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and South Korea. Everywhere else our consumer coverage map stays free on www.sogudo.com, and custom mapping projects are available worldwide on request.
How often is the data updated?
Propagation models are recomputed every month to include the latest 3G/4G/5G antenna deployments published by each country's regulator.
Are the tiles compatible with my current map stack?
Yes. Our tiles are standard vector PBF, natively supported by Mapbox GL JS, MapLibre GL, Leaflet (via the VectorGrid plugin) and most web and mobile mapping engines. We provide integration samples for every major framework.
How do I get pricing and access?
Plans are monthly and priced on the number of distinct addresses you check: Free (100), Starter (1,000), Growth (10,000) and Scale (100,000). The coverage map is included from Growth. Beyond 100,000 addresses, and for custom maps for regulators and authorities, we quote. Full details are on the pricing page.
Are my request coordinates stored?
GPS coordinates sent to the API are never tied to an end-user and are only retained in aggregated form (per-key usage metrics). We store no personal data and comply with the GDPR. A DPA is available for Growth and Scale plans.
