Why does nobody check the network before signing up?
We compare plans on price and data allowance, almost never on the quality of the network where we live. Nobody chose it that way: the carriers simply never gave out the information. Sogudo exists to change that.

The information carriers never gave
Choosing a mobile plan or a home internet box, you compare prices, data caps and phone deals. What decides whether it will work at home is missing from the comparison: the quality of each network at your address.
That gap is no accident. Each carrier publishes its own coverage map, drawn to sell its own offers, and none of them shows how its network compares with the others on your street. Without that comparison the choice comes down to habit or advertising.
Sogudo started there. With INRIA, France's national institute for digital science, we built a model that computes the signal from every declared antenna and puts all carriers side by side at the same point. Launched in France in 2020, it now covers 21 countries across Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific. Our goal is that anyone in the world can pick a plan or a box knowing the network quality where they live.
The question matters more now that the offer has widened. Satellite internet and Starlink plans compete with 5G boxes, fibre and classic mobile plans, and the right choice depends on what each network delivers at your home or office. Sogudo is today the only service that lets you compare it.
This holds for individuals and for professionals. A family choosing its plan and a company equipping its teams both deserve to decide on the network where they live or work. Our APIs carry that same information into real-estate listings, comparators and insurance products.
